This evening, the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, H.E. Dr. Musalia Mudavadi, graciously hosted Ambassadors and High Commissioners from the South African Development Community (SADC) regional economic bloc member states at the Railways HQ offices.

The distinguished envoys, based in Nairobi, paid a courtesy call to discuss pivotal areas of collaboration and partnership. Their deliberations covered enhancing economic ties, promoting peace and security, and advancing the well-being of African citizens.

In his address, the Prime Cabinet Secretary underscored the imperative of strengthening partnerships among regional economic blocs, asserting that such unity is essential for building a stable and prosperous Africa. He highlighted Africa's status as the youngest continent by demographic statistics, urging the envoys to implement impactful policies and programs that cater to the burgeoning youthful population.

The Prime CS also commended the envoys for strategically choosing Kenya as a prime destination for investment and recognizing it as a regional beacon of peace and democracy.

The meeting was attended by H.E. Winpeg Moyo, High Commissioner of the Republic of Zimbabwe to Kenya, who led the delegation; H.E. Andrew Onalenna Sesinyi, High Commissioner of the Republic of Botswana to Kenya; H.E. John Nyakeru Kalunga, Ambassador of the Republic of Congo to Kenya; H.E. Jeronimo Chivavi, High Commissioner of the Republic of Mozambique to Kenya; H.E. Mniwa Johannes Mahlangu, High Commissioner of the Republic of South Africa to Kenya; and H.E. Dr. Bernard Kibesse, High Commissioner of the Republic of Tanzania to Kenya.
